HRSA BHW Modernization
The Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) is an agency of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). We improve health care to people who are geographically isolated, economically or medically vulnerable. Tens of millions of Americans receive quality, affordable health care and other services through HRSA's 90-plus programs and more than 3,000 grantees. The Bureau of Health Workforce (BHW) administers programs that are designed to strengthen the health workforce and connect skilled professionals to rural, urban, and tribal underserved communities nationwide.
In 2016, I was hired to take the lead on this multi-year multi-million dollar modernization project. End-to-end full stack UX processes were put in place to tackle UX Research, UX Strategy, and UX Delivery. In 2020, the effort we had put forth was successful enough to win Publicis Sapient Public Sector the re-compete contact the continue the great work we has started.
